Our brand design process

As our name implies, we believe that form should follow function. A brand only works if the strategy underpinning it is perfectly in tune with your business.

Branding workshop

Every new branding project begins with a workshop with you and your stakeholders. This gives us the space to gather as much information from you as possible and familiarised ourselves with your market, your competitors and your audience.

Creative exploration

This is the fun bit… With a solid strategy in place, the studio becomes our playground, and we experiment with colour, type, pattern, graphics, tone of voice and of course hundreds of potential logos until we land on a selection of routes ready to run by you for feedback. At this point, we then collectively narrow them down and refine.

Brand Design

After a route is selected, we get to work fine-tuning it, stress testing it and rolling it out across multiple mediums and environments. At every stage of the project, we collaborate with you – after all, it is your brand and we value your unparallel understanding of your audience.

Establishing the rulebook

To enforce consistency, prevent brand deterioration and help guide you and your team to embody your new identity, we'll deliver brand guidelines. These contain everything you need to understand the anatomy of your new identity and how it comes together.

Brand collateral

With a new brand identity locked in, it's time to create the deliverables. if this is a part of a website project, we'll of course be simultaneously crafting your website alongside this work. But we can also deliver other branded material, such as business cards, letterheads, email signatures, presentation templates and other assets enabling you to show off your new look to the world.
